Brand & Attribution

Logo assets and the attribution badge

For clients, partners and press. If RedEye Security secures your environment and you want to say so on your site, the badge and the markup are below. Everything on this page may be used as-is without asking.

Secured by RedEye Security

The badge below is the standard attribution for an active client. Pick the variant that matches your footer background, paste the markup, and you are done. The link back to redeyesecurity.com is part of the badge.

For light footers

Paste this into your footer

Swap on-dark for on-light if your footer is light. The alt text carries the wording, so the attribution still reads correctly to screen readers and with images disabled.

<a href="https://redeyesecurity.com"
   rel="noopener"
   aria-label="Secured by RedEye Security"
   style="display:inline-flex;align-items:center;text-decoration:none">
  <img src="https://redeyesecurity.com/images/RedEye-lockup-horizontal-on-dark.svg"
       alt="Secured by RedEye Security"
       height="28"
       style="height:28px;width:auto;display:block">
</a>

At height:28px the lockup renders about 106px wide. It is an SVG, so it stays sharp at any size and costs about 3 KB.

The assets

SVG is preferred everywhere it works. The PNGs exist for email signatures, slide decks and anywhere SVG is awkward.

RedEye Security full lockup, for dark backgrounds

Full lockup

SVG · 760 × 200 · scalable

Eye, wordmark and tagline. The default choice, and what the badge above uses.

RedEye Security wordmark, for dark backgrounds

Wordmark only

SVG · 560 × 130 · scalable

Name without the eye. For tight horizontal space, or where the mark already appears nearby.

RedEye Security eye mark, for dark backgrounds

Eye mark only

SVG · scalable

Mark without the name. For favicons, avatars and square placements.

A note on the PNG lockups. The PNG pair is older and the two variants are not exact inversions of each other: the light version carries a padlock in the pupil, the dark version carries a spiral. The SVG pair is consistent. If the mark matters to you, use the SVG.

Using the marks

Please do

  • Use the badge if RedEye Security currently provides your security services.
  • Keep clear space around the lockup of at least the height of the eye mark.
  • Link the badge to redeyesecurity.com.
  • Pick the variant that matches your background, so the wordmark stays legible.
  • Scale proportionally. SVG handles this for you.

Please do not

  • Recolour, outline, add effects to, or rotate the marks.
  • Stretch or squash the lockup, or rebuild it from parts.
  • Imply certification, accreditation or audit. The badge says we provide services, nothing more.
  • Use the marks to suggest RedEye endorses a product, or in a way that implies partnership where none exists.
  • Place the badge on a background that leaves the wordmark unreadable.

Hotlink or self-host

Both are fine. The trade is worth understanding before you choose.

Hotlinking

Point straight at redeyesecurity.com, as the snippet above does. Nothing to host and you always get the current mark. If we ever move the file, your badge breaks.

Self-hosting

Download the SVG and serve it yourself. Nothing we do can break your footer. The cost is that it will not update if the mark changes.
